Catalyze Chicago is a non-profit co-working space for hardware focused startups in Chicago, Illinois.
Our downstairs office space, home to the majority of our tenants, includes two large windows made of glass blocks. As time went on these blocks started to look more and more like pixels.
After a healthy application of Adafruits NeoPixels (over 4,000), our own custom PCBs, and Micah Scotts FadeCandy boards we created our own 32 x 6 LED marquee.
With this app installed, and your iOS device connected to Catalyze Chicagos wireless network you can write and draw to your hearts content! The save/load functionality allows you to take any sketch thats currently being displayed and save it for future remixing and displaying. While youre hopping the Green line down to Catalyze you can use the app to create and save drawings to show off once you arrive.
